Project
This 4 bedroom home was designed and built on a large property in the countryside and expresses a relaxed formality.
The entrance being formal and symmetrical making use of Doric order columns on each side of a large front door that floats withing a custom designed stained glass frame allowing ample light into the entrance hall.
The transition from public to private space was important to the owner so the formal lounge and dining room were located each side of the the formal entrance space.
The more private spaces such as the family lounge, open plan kitchen / dining areas were located behind frosted glass doors providing screening from visitors.
Other features included a separate side entrance into a boot room and a direct access from the double garage into the kitchen via the laundry / scullery.
